All of us are bound to make mistakes daily by default, then we treat these mistakes as problems and we try to solve them. We may again commit a new mistake while trying to solve this problem. This happens repeatedly. We realize that we committed some new mistake while solving some old problem. This realization can happen immediately after solving the problem OR sometime later OR we may never realize it. In case we don't realize, it starts growing into a bigger problem and offers us a huge challenge at a later stage may be in a modified form.

Most of the time we are going to commit mistakes in 2 ways:

  • Knowingly

  • Un-knowingly (Most of the time)

We do more mistakes Un-knowingly than known to us. May be you could match yourself most of the time in the following ways where you can identify it:

  •     Before you make a mistake, you might realize that what you are going to do, is a mistake and you want to avoid it. Sometimes in rare conditions you justify that doing mistakes are fine. If you identify before doing mistakes that means, you track yourself better.

  •     After doing a mistake, you realize that you did a mistake and you might ignore it OR you might feel sad about the mistake you did and regret for it and you might want to rectify the mistake if it is going to help you in future. This is a little bit late to realize the mistake. But, this is ok.

  •     Sometimes when you do a mistake, you will not know that you did a mistake. In this case, you find only very few people who would prefer to tell you that u have done a mistake. For ex: If you have created problems for someone without knowing, that person will feel the pinch, but most of the people will not express to you that what u have done, is causing problems to them. They may ask a 3rd person to inform you. Once you do some harm to someone, it’s done. It doesn't matter whether u have done directly or indirectly, Mistake is a Mistake whether you know it or not; whether you accept it or not. This kind of identification is too late and damage would have happened already to a great extent.

  •     Sometimes you will do mistakes and nobody points it out. This kind of problems will grow bigger & bigger and takes different form and comes back to you. This is even more dangerous for you. Once you get this kind of problems, you will not know or you will not have the patience to analyze that this problem is the result of some of your old mistakes. Like if you do some mistake A, it will come back as another problem B; the two may seem to be even totally unrelated, according to you. If you do this kind of mistakes more, then your life will be miserable.

Hence, you tend to do more mistakes, if you are unable to track what kind of activities you do in your daily life. If you avoid making mistakes, then you will get better, day after day. You will see growth in many areas of life.

As you do more mistakes, people do not like to come and talk to you about the mistakes you do. If you are a good listener, people might come back to talk to you. At the same time, we need to try our best to convince people politely to correct their mistakes. This will not be an easy job. You need to think what to tell and what not to tell, and then you need to talk to that person and then try to make him correct his mistakes.

While convincing a person, you should not have any hidden motives for the benefit of your own self. In which case, you will fail in helping the other person to correct his mistakes. If they are your family members and close people, you have to try always with patience. But if they are outsiders, you may not try for long since you will be busy in your own life committing mistakes and busy in correcting yourself.

So, you cannot wait for someone to come and tell you all your mistakes daily. Try to correct your mistakes on your own; it is your responsibility to do this. The Best way could be, after coming back from Work or anywhere on the way back to home, Sit alone, where there is less/no disturbance (less sound preferably) and backtrack what kind of people you met the entire day, the count will not be.

Even though you meet people at random, you don't have to worry much. You just need to track only those people who interacted with you. Then remember how you interacted, whether you did any mistake or not. Here we don't need to track the good things. Its ok if you don't track the good things.

Once you analyze and identify that u have done some mistake for someone, then you try to reduce the risk of these problems, turning into Big problems. Sometimes, we can avoid further problems by talking to the concerned people OR follow any of the methods available to reduce the problems associated with the mistake committed. Here risk will be reduced and it will not remain as an un-noticed problem. Thus, identifying the un-noticed problems, matters most. Even if you feel that the outcome is not so good, it is still better to accept the mistake, and make sure that you reduce the negative result of your mistake as much as possible.

Initial days, it will be difficult to back-track your activities, but as you try, you can see the results easily and you will identify your mistakes faster. Only back-tracking will help you to reduce mistakes. Most importantly, you need to accept the mistakes internally, that u have done mistake and you should be willing to correct it.

If you do not accept internally, you cannot correct mistakes. When we accept mistakes openly in front of people and when we don't accept internally to our self, we are surely going to ignore those mistakes; which is very bad. If you have more number of friends who wish your growth positively; they might identify and report your mistakes. This truly is a great boon for you.

"If you do not track yourself on a daily basis by spending at least few minutes, doing unknowing mistakes will increase and the risks in life also increases"
